Chic Seafood and More

If you’re looking for an elegant (though not pretentious) pre-theatre dinner, Oceana is a great choice!  There’s a $49 Theatre menu that’s hard to beat:  it’s 3 courses and includes a choice of such delectable treats as oysters, cod, or steak, plus 3 dessert options. Or just choose from their extensive menu of seafood, shellfish, meats and pasta.  The setting is a soothing, cream-colored, contemporary take on Art Deco, and their specialty is fresh seafood, as one would expect from the restaurant’s name.  (My personal fave is the Dover Sole Meuniere, pictured above).  They also have an amazing pasty chef, Douglas Hernandez, whose constantly changing menu of amazing creations (like  the one above) is superb.  Closed Sundays except during the Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday period.
