The National Theatre production of Network will transfer to Broadway this fall starring Tony®, Olivier, Emmy® and Golden Globe Award® winner Bryan Cranston (All The Way, Breaking Bad) in his Olivier Award-winning performance of “Howard Beale”.
Howard Beale, news anchor-man, isn’t pulling in the viewers. In his final broadcast he unravels live on screen. But when ratings soar, the network seizes on their newfound populist prophet, and Howard becomes the biggest thing on TV. Network depicts a media landscape where opinion trumps fact. Hilarious and hair-raising by turns, the iconic film by Paddy Chayefsky won four Academy Awards® in 1976.
Suitable for ages 12 and up, and no one under age 4 will be permitted in the theatre.
**NOTE** This production was originally slated to run at the Cort Theatre and will now appear at the Belasco. If you purchased tickets before the switch, you will be re-assigned seats similar to those originally purchased for — but we strongly suggest you contact the Box Office or Telecharge ahead of time to confirm your new seats.
