One of the most beloved musicals of all time, Lerner & Loewe’s My Fair Lady returns to Broadway in a lavish new production from Lincoln Center Theater, the theater which brought you the Tony-winning revivals of South Pacific and The King and I.

Directed by Tony® winner Bartlett Sher, the stellar cast – led by Tony®️ winner Laura Benanti – tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

The classic score features “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live.” The original 1956 production won six Tony Awards including Best Musical.

My Fair Lady is suitable for ages 10+, and no one under age 4 will be admitted to the theatre.

My THEATRE WEEKEND

OUR TAKE

It’s difficult not to get swept up in Lincoln Center’s current revival of My Fair Lady. Although the story seems somewhat out-dated in the era of the #MeToo Movement, the underlying story of two people from different worlds falling in love is still hard to resist.

Aside from the brilliant score and incredible performances, this show has some of the best costumes and most breath-taking sets on Broadway. (It also has one of the best Sound Designs — which you’ll only understand fully when you hear the sound of horse hooves racing around the theatre in the racetrack scene!)
