The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre is a small (650 seat), elegant house that was renovated in 2003. Because of its size, there’s hardly a bad seat. On the lower level, the charming lounge opens 45 minutes before performances for concessions, restrooms, and lockers.
The Manhattan Theatre Club has a great program if you’re under 35 years old, and might be planning several Theatre Weekends in New York. MTC allocates 30 seats at $35 for every performance for members of their “30 Under 35 Club.” Click the ID above for details.
